First day for the 39 Chevy April 13, 2006 and family drops by to see what all my excitement is about. Turns out that I did not need much help getting it unloaded off the trailer. It rolled just fine as my father - 84 years young at the time - found out. Once we unstrapped the car and gave just a hint of a push it rolled freely, and straight I might add for a vehcile no one thought to steer. The momentum of coming off the trailer sent it 10 feet up the incline of the driveway and into the garage. It was a warm day in April and Dad had taken a seat in the back of the garage to watch the unloading. Never saw him with a bigger smile, or move quicker when he relized that the old 39 did not have a driver and was coming his way. Good news is Dad is working towards his 90th birthday in July and is still as nimble as someone his age can be. Here are some pictures of the arrival.
